Better Buddies is a program that links our grade five students with Kindergarten. This program is an initiative developed by The Alannah and Madeline Foundation to promote friendly and caring communities within primary schools. Kindergarten enjoys meeting and making friends with grade five students who help them with activities that they would usually find difficult independently. This gives our grade five students the opportunity to model our GVIC (PBS) values to our newest students, as well as take pride and experience success in leading small-group work with students
